What is an OpenWell?
OpenWell is a fresh expression of church.
We believe that the best place to grow to love and live like Jesus is in the context of community, where you are known and you can know others.
OpenWell is a safe place to explore Jesus and experience God’s love and his presence.
OUR VISION IS SIMPLE:
“Help people experience the love of God and lead people into their next step in loving and living like Jesus”.
OUR MISSION IS:
To establish Wells all over the Liverpool region and beyond. Well’s that are a source of life in their community. Wells that help people to grow in living and loving like Jesus.
Each Well is supported by a weekly Sunday morning DEEPER worship, preaching and teaching and full kids club.

What does an OpenWell community look like?
Each OpenWell service starts around tables with food (or some form of hospitality). This is an opportunity to build relationships.
Worship and opportunity to welcome and embrace Holy Spirit and focus on Jesus and receive God’s love.
Each week we also take communion to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Each week there is a Bible based talk that will help you learn to live and love like Jesus.
Each talk will be part of a series. Each series lasts for around 6-8 weeks and is based on a book of the Bible.
Opportunity for people to respond to the talk, hear from others, and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly, and open environment.
Opportunity to give and receive prayer.
Times and locations
An OpenWell community will run a weekly service that lasts for one hour and can run on any day at any time. An OpenWell service can be in a community centre, church building, cafe or home. Every OpenWell will be a little bit different but we all share our passion for hospitality, a talk and conversation.
We are planning to launch 3 NEW OpenWell communities in 2021.
Each new OpenWell is TBC.

KIDS - There will be a KIDS CLUB (ages 5-11) and creche facilities during the service.

Questions about an OpenWell service
What about my kids?
Through the week, there are OpenWell services where there is a kids club and crèche that are run by our trained and DBS checked kids work team.
What about my teenagers?
There is a special YOUTH OpenWell on Friday nights at 6-8pm.
Is there Singing?
We will normally sing a song before the talk.
What do I wear?
You can wear your normal clothes. There is no special dress code.
How long does the service last?
An OpenWell service lasts around an hour. Sometimes it can be a little longer than an hour.
What does it cost?
An OpenWell service is free. We encourage people to donate and the host will give an opportunity to give during the service. You can also donate online using the button below.
