LOVING AND LEADING PEOPLE IN THIER NEXT STEP TO LOVE & LIVE LIKE JESUS
What is an OpenWell host?
Each OpenWell is led by a host team and each host team has a team leader. An OpenWell host is part of the leadership team that hosts an OpenWell community. The host team are responsible for the weekly OpenWell service and the care of the people attending the service. All the infrastructure to run an OpenWell service is provided by OpenWell and the host is not responsible for food, teaching material & equipment.
What does an OpenWell service look like?
Each OpenWell service starts around tables with food (or some form of hospitality). This is an opportunity to build relationships.
OpenWell is a safe place where you can be real and open and discover the power of being known, heard and loved.
Each week there is a Bible based talk that will help you learn to live and love like Jesus.
Each talk will be part of a series. Each series lasts for around 6-8 weeks and is based on a book of the Bible.
The discussion time is an opportunity for people to respond to the talk, hear from others, and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly, and open environment.
Prayer is powerful. We are strengthened and encouraged by God’s presence.
Prayer is an opportunity to receive prayer and pray for others.
Each week we also take communion to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus.
